MarkGrace Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organisation has officially been launched in the Eastern Region to help support the impoverished across the country.
The Foundation has supported the less privileged in the various communities over the past years with reliefs items, learning materials, funds and others to help improved their lives.
Prior to the launch, MarkGrace Foundation traveled to the hinterlands with the support of the Municipal and District Education Directors to assist needy pupils in deprived schools.
Speaking to Nhyiraba Nartey Solomon of Bryt fm after the launching ceremony, the Founder of Reigning Power Gospel Church World Wide, Bishop Dr. Samuel Sarpong-Kwakwa said that, helping the poor and the needy would help them have good livelihoods.
He called on all to support people who are starving in life in absence of basic needs such as food and clothes, adding that helping the poor and the needy is a good deed.
Bishop Dr. Sarpong-Kwakwa stated that supporting the poor is a way of giving to God adding that it is necessary to give to God through supporting the less privileged.
He therefore commended MarkGrace Foundation for the intervention as their activities will in turn help to reduce poverty in the country.
‘‘There are many ways to support the needy hence it is better to contribute to the organisations to help take up the responsibility’’ said Bishop Dr. Sarpong-Kwakwa.
Meanwhile, the Founder of the MarkGrace Foundation,an Associate Pastor of Reigning Power Gospel Church World Wide, Mark Bempong Danso pleaded with Ghanaians to support the charity organization to help the needy in their afflictions.
Mr. Bempong Danso said there is a need for more people to join hands with the foundation as it focuses to support Ghanaians who are in need.
