Bryt FM has confirmed that the woman who tragically killed with private parts removed in what appears to be ritual murder near the Otorkporlu bridge off Odumase-Asesewa road last Saturday hailed from Saisi in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal area in Eastern Region.
Her employer, currently based in Accra has revealed that the victim served as the caretaker or domestic assistant to their grandmother in Agormanya.
She would carry out her duties and then return to her residence in Saisi.
According to reports, the victim was last seen with their grandmother on Friday, 2nd February, 2024.
She informed their grandmother that she would be leaving for a short while and promised to return the next day.
However, all attempts to reach her via phone on Saturday morning were unsuccessful.
Furthermore, her employer disclosed that the victim’s salary for the month of January was transferred to her mobile money account on Monday morning after they failed to establish contact with her.
The community and authorities are deeply troubled by this horrific incident and are actively collaborating with the local Police to investigate the circumstances surrounding the victim’s untimely death.
