The Eastern Regional Secretariat of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has reversed the suspension of Ernest Adom Dikoh, the Akuapem North Constituency Organizer, effective immediately.
In a statement released today, the Regional Secretariat directed the matter to the Regional Executive Committee for further investigation, citing constitutional and procedural irregularities in the suspension.
The Constituency Executive Committee, led by the Chairman and Secretary, had suspended Mr. Adom Dikoh for a month without due process, alleging gross misconduct and insubordination.
The Regional Secretariat deemed the suspension unconstitutional and detrimental to the party’s interests, particularly as the December elections approach.
