The Ghana Veterinary Medical Association is appealing to government to as a matter of urgency pay attention to the numerous challenges that is crippling the progress of the veterinary service.
According to Dr Joseph Kofi Ampofo, all veterinary service departments across the the country lack standard facilities to unleash their full responsibilities.

“Currently vaccines are stored in the fridges of individual staffs due to lack of infrastructure, including storage facilities and office spaces”, Dr Ampofo added.
