Naa Yaa Jantuah, a presidential staffer, has questioned persistent calls for political apologies, contending that past treatment of former President John Dramani Mahama should also be taken into account.
Naa Yaa Jantuah stated on Joy News’ AM Show, that conversations regarding political apologies should be fair and grounded in the behavior of political actors in the past.
“Who should apologize to whom?” she asked. She argued that former President John Dramani Mahama was subjected to unfair treatment during his time in office, citing personal observations of interactions at public events.
“If there is an apology to be given, you need a tanker full of apologies to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama. You destroyed his name, denigrated him, made everybody feel he is worth nothing,” she told former Greater Accra Regional Minister Titus Glover who was on the same show and arguing with her.
