Ofori Panin Senior High School (OPASS) has officially inducted its graduating Class of 2026 into the OPASS Old Students Association (OPOSA), marking their transition from students to lifelong members of the school community
Chairman of the programme, Opanin Nana Kofi Awuh, urged the graduating students to remain proud ambassadors of OPASS and uphold the values that have distinguished the school over the past 65 years. He encouraged them to stay connected to their alma mater and contribute meaningfully to its growth and development wherever they find themselves.
Speaking at the event, OPOSA Global Treasurer, Gifty Amoako-Gyimah, explained that the induction ceremony was intended to preserve the identity of OPASS students, connect them to the school’s alumni network, and instill in them a sense of responsibility towards both the school and the nation.
Delivering the keynote address on the theme, “65 Years of Excellence: Your Turn to Write the Next Chapter,” the speaker challenged the graduates to honour the rich legacy of OPASS and uphold its reputation for excellence. He reminded them that their induction into OPOSA signifies a transition from being students to becoming custodians of the school’s legacy.
The speaker further noted that the conduct and achievements of the Class of 2026 would contribute to shaping the next chapter of the school’s history. He therefore encouraged them to embody the school’s motto, “Mpaninfo, Dwen Na Som” (Think and Serve), and strive for excellence in all their endeavours.
The ceremony officially welcomed the Class of 2026 into the OPASS Old Students Association and encouraged them to remain committed to supporting their alma mater and contributing positively to national development.
