The Fulani herdsmen Association of Ghana, Eastern Regional Chapter, has hinted at reducing prices of livestock as they are relocating the cattle market to Kutoso near Kwahu Tafo of the Eastern Region.
Speaking to the media, the Fulani Chief of Donkorkrom in the Kwahu Afram Plains, Chief Janllo Iddrisa Sambo said, through Kwhumanhene Daasebre Akuamoah Boateng III and the Fulani Chief at Kwahu, Alhaji Dudu, a large portion of land had been acquired at Kutoso where the cattle market has been relocated.
“As we are inviting buyers, customers, and the media as a whole to the scene, value corresponds to the average price obtained across homogeneous categories of cattle. We know transporting costs are high but we have decided to drop prices for buyers to have preferences”
“Our main goal is to supply and provide quality services and produce at affordable prices on livestock, we have been in existence for so many years now and we are one of the best autonomous commodity groups in Ghana and beyond which we focus on needs of our members and client’s needs”.
“We also do help people in the Rural and Urban areas having the dream and resources in farming to have the best stock they need. Our strategically located facilities ensuring the input costs are kept low, we believe in the services and ensuring that quality control is always at the forefront of our processes”
“For this reason, we have integrated all production processes under one roof at Kutoso in the Kwahu guaranteeing total quality management”.
“I, therefore, called on buyers to come in their numbers on July 13, 2020. For a low price of livestock as we commission our newly created cattle market”.
“With a deep appreciation, we thank the Kwahumanhene Dasebre Akuamoah Boateng iii may his name be praised and the Fulani Chief at Kwahu Alhaji Dudu for their wellbeing, we are most grateful,” said Chief Janllo Iddrisa.
