The New Juaben traditional council in collaboration with Koforidua Local Council of Churches, Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council, as well as other churches in the traditional area supported have held a Thanksgiving service to magnify the Lord and dedicate the year to God .
The Thanksgiving service was initiated by Omanhene Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III.
In attendance were Chiefs,Pastors,Bishops , government officials such as Gabby Asare Okyere Darko,MCE for New Juaben North and South Comfort Asante and Ike Appaw Gyasi respectively.
Delivering the sermon, Rev.Justice Kwame Asumeng, District Minister Ascension Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana said just as God prepared David to lead his people so as Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III has been prepared to lead New Juaben for development and prosperity.
He urged all sub chiefs ,subjects ,churches to give honour and support to the Omanhene to execute this agenda of God at the time .
Rev.Justice Kwame Asumeng charged Daasebre to lead New Juaben to the path of development where all roads riddled with potholes will be asphalted, streetlight will work, traffic light will function among others.
Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III reiterated his call for sustained unity to create the enabling environment for development.
He thanked the churches for their support in making the thanksgiving service a success.
Municipal Chief Executive for New Juaben Ike Appaw Gyasi urged residents of New Juaben to take advantage of the free senior high School policy to provide their children better education.
He stated that, President Akufo Addo is looking into the future not today hence the huge investment in education.
Effiduase Area Head of the Church of Pentecost Apostle Stephen Okyere Acheampong lauded Daasebre Kwaku Boateng for putting God first in his reign.
