On behalf of the President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia welcomed the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, Ministers of State, members of the Council of State, MPs, leadership of the Muslim community and some Christian leaders on Wednesday morning.
The dignitaries were present for the 6th Jubilee House Iftar at the Jubilee House.
Since the institution of the Jubilee House Iftar in 2017, it has become a unifying platform, where Christians join Muslims of diverse backgrounds to break the day’s fast and pray for the nation.
Dr. Bawumia expressed gratitude to the religious leaders for their commitment and steadfast in interceding for the nation.
