Director General of the Ghana Education Service, Dr. Eric Nkansah participated in the 2nd edition of the National Digital and Distance Learning Conference organized by the Centre for National Distance Learning and Open Schooling (CENDLOS) in Accra.
The two-day conference organized from Monday 14th to Tuesday 15th August 2023 was under the theme; “Reimagining Education: A Call on Multi-Stakeholder Coordination and Action for Equitable Access to Digital & Distance Learning in Ghana”.
The DG gave an address on the topic, “The Role of ICT in the Pre-Tertiary Cycle (The Success).”
During the conference the Hon. Minister for Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, launched the Learning Passport and Minecraft Education; two platforms to further enhance virtual learning at the pre-tertiary level.
